So inother words...

You over compressed it?

Well done sir, you have made the most spectacular track ever. Not.

If anything this sounds far worse than the original. There is a reason that songs aren't made like this. It's called clipping. When the audio becomes so loud, that it begins to mash together, and cause a rattling of the speakers.

Nothing remixed, nothing changed.

I hate to be so rude, but this is garbage. No creativity, nothing new, Literally, Nothing.

Heavycannontank responds:

this was an amplification not a remix, and you obviously hate this type of music so you really shouldn't be posting here because i test my songs with 20 different people who agree that they like the genre this music is in at school before uploading it. you are just a sad sack of fat with no life that likes trying to make other peoples lives horrible and i feel sorry for you. Maybe if u get a life you would feel better

Meowmicles.

Highballers is quite the reviewer ehh?

I absolutely love the... classic-esc opening. Putting the guitar sound aside, this sounds pretty badass man.

You really pulled a bunch of sweet moves to get a sweet sound. The pinches, and the high leads sounded sweet.

Your drums are solid, however, I think they could have a bit more punch behind them. The kick doesn't feel as strong as it could.

You've got some sweet riffs in there man, keep it up. Sounds sweet.

DiroNomer responds:

Thanks for the advice man.

Well then.

This is by far one of the best tracks I've heard in quite some time. The melody, is absolutely fantastic. It moves around, and goes places, and never stays the same.

The background guitar in the end was just as awesome. You sir, made a masterpiece here. Nothing to complain about.

Bravo.

Darkmaster603 responds:

You're too kind lol. I'm still working on this one so exect it soon!

Thanks for the review.

Drop A, FUCK YEAH.

I wasn't planning on reviewing, however, you mentioned Drop A, which is what I just recently set my gutiar tuned to.

This all sounds pretty kickass man, however there's a couple things I think you could improve on.

Your drums had a bit too much treble in my opinion. Mind you, that's only my opinion, if you like them like that, then by all means keep them like that.

Your guitar playing is tight, clean (As far as distorted guitar comes), and smooth. I think you could use a little more tone on it. Add a tiny bit of treble to make it stand out more. Once again, just opinions. Not saying that your way is wrong. Just my thoughts.

Anyways, bravo sir. Excellent riffs, excellent playing, superb track.

Darkmaster603 responds:

Like I said, I'm pretty new to mixing metal stuff so I'm still working on my technique. I'll take your advice in my next session though, thanks.

Bravo, Bravo!

This is an intense journey of music. Emotion explodes out of this piece to me. Heartache, and yet, a sense of joy is what I'm left from this song.

This is an absolute fantastic piece, for the most part, trance isn't my genre, but this piece really spoke to me. Excellent stuff.

Sorry to make this a short review, but I have nothing to critique, and rather just say that this piece is by far a front page material.

Props to you sir.

syphonmax responds:

Well I'm trying something new, throw a huge amount of emotion into a song, depending on my mood at the time (:

And you hit the spot, I've been through a lot of shit the past 2 months, some real hair pulling stuff, but having got through it I'm just WOO!

Oh hey!

I'm going to completely ignore the quality of recording here, because unlike half of newgrounds, I see past it.

Your guy's music is ridiculously awesome. The opening reminds me of "Goliaths disarm their Davids" by In Flames. You guys have some sick riffs here, and your guitarist knows how to play. All of your tones are pretty sick. Especially your bass tone. Punchy. I like it.

Awesome work you guys have here. Keep meltin faces man! \m/

Lost-Thought responds:

Thank you for reviewing, I haven't heard that In Flames song, maybe I'll check it out and see if maybe it sounds too similar... I hope to get some more recordings of our other songs with our vocalist and get them up here, they are pretty badass

Oh hey there.

Welcome to the world of making music. You're gonna find that it's tedious, and at the end of the day, you're the only one who can truly choose to keep going. I encourage you to keep going.

Everyone starts somewhere, and this is surprisingly good for a first. The beat is catchy, and you have some various beats (Mostly the claps).

However, when it comes to the piano, it's too repetitive. A song should have a noticeable change in it atleast once or twice. Without this, the song becomes dragging on the listeners ears, and they don't want to listen all the way through. Variation is always a good thing, but not too much.

As far as a first, I congratulate you, this is good. Keep on trucking down the music path, and take with you the critique that others give, if you do that, with a lil luck you can end up on the front page.

Keep at it!

ron-exon responds:

Thank you. I do my best to upload some better ones.

MEALS HAPPEN TO HAVE FUCKING WHEELS.

I have no clue what sir Mindandthemend happens to see ambient here.

I have 2 pet peeves with this. At 3:00 there is some staccss, I didn't like em. Just throwing that out there, and then in the end, you have some apreggiators (Sp) going, not a big fan of those either.

I love the opening synth, I'd love that patch too. Sweet chill feeling it has. I love the little hardcore drill'n bass you threw in there. Was a sweet pleasant surprise. Better then the surprise of finding cream filling in your donut when you weren't expecting it. I hate that surprise. I liked your audio clips though, sweet ones. Especially the first one and it's climax. Well done brah, kudos!

As far as this goes, it's pretty sweet. I'm not sure what that guy wants with more, I find it rather complete. Bends genres a lot, but it's pretty sweet yo.

Wheels, Cheese Wheels.

PizzaBox responds:

I'm surprised you complained about the strings and not the awfully-placed flute. Oh well.

I'll give you the patch fo'sho. It was just a really REALLY simple subtractor patch.

Glad you liked the rest of it though :3

Buduh!

In no means is this review intended to be offensive, however, when it comes off that way, I apologize.

This sounds as though it belongs in a kid movie. The main character, running throughout his day, drawing on the wall, chasing the cat around the house, pretending to be a pirate, playing in forts. It just throws that childhood vibe out there, that is so hard to shake.

The nostalgia is insane. It feels like I'm in one of my little forts made of blankets again. Or you and I are sitting side by side playing some hardcore bomber-man [Super-Nintendo]. (Remember the day you got that thing?) yeah dude. I was so envious of you that you had that.

As far as the overall quality of the song, it's great. The bass stands out, but without being too over-powering, and that's something that's quite hard to pull off. Great eq-ing on that!

The piano had some repeating notes that felt like they carried for a little bit too much, but overall they were satisfactory in their quest to hold a tune.

The trumpets are awesommme! I really want the patch you used for them! I feel the want to make some ska with them!

The guitar, as always, stands out the most to me, and I gotta say, it's really impressive. Sample, or a friend playing, it's quite impressive. Kudos to the player, whomever they are.

Bravo sir, it's quite a champion of songs. Excellent mastering, great rhythm, sweet melody. An absolute delight! A branch off your usual, but none the less, a pleasant taste :)

AlmostTechnicolor responds:

There's no possible way I could take that offensively, I wasn't going for a childish nostalgia, just wanted it to sound happy. But still, I totally remember everything you mentioned and I miss that :3

Sorry for the repetitive piano, I was doing improv, and I'm not very good at such things :<

I'll give you my brass next time I see you :)

The guitar was a Dr. Rex, but like I said, I don't remember where I got them from :/

Thanks for the review.

I hear Age of Empires.

Definitely sounds like a soundtrack from Age of Empires in the opening, and that presence doesn't really ever leave in my opinion. The subtle drum beats in the background leave a mysterious feeling.

The drums near the middle are a great twist. They add a bit of disturbing chills to it. Making sure to keep you on edge.

This by far is my favorite, and takes the cake from the other. Well done sir. Great piece.

AlmostTechnicolor responds:

I can definitely hear AoE in this now :P

Interesting that you liked this one best. I was really just trying to get it over with because I had an intense headache and making music was painful so I decided to do a really quiet ambient piece.

I can create melody, I can create a beat, but I'm not the one who creates the emotions you feel.
