WHAT IS THIS!?

Ehhhhhhhh...

It's so, so weird....

I gotta agree, sounds like a clown for some reason.

The rapid snares are the only thing I really enjoyed. The rest felt too akward.

Sorry for 2 bad reviews :(

ReFreezed responds:

WHAT THIS IS!? THIS IS IT!!! :3

Well, any reviews are appreciated, and an 8 doesn't feel bad at all. So thanks! :)

Hmm.

I thought it was okay, but not my fav of yours.

Felt like it was lacking :( I don't know how exactly... but it just. Well, it just wasn't my taste :(

Sorry for the kinda downing review.

ReFreezed responds:

You know, I have this feeling too: something's lacking... Maybe it's a pad or something. I'm satisfied with the chorus, but the middle part is missing something.

Well, thanks anyway. No worries :)

Hmm...

Interesting song you got here...

You have a good melody going... once it picks up.

The opening is a little iffy.

If you were going for hardcore style, You fell behind... Hardstyle? I could see how this could be, and if you're asking yourself now: "What's the differencec between hardcore and hardstyle?" This is how I see it. Hardstyle = Drums and hard bass, Hardcore = Just hard bass.

Add a little bit more stronger bit of bass on here and I think it would be a lot better. It also ends a little quickly.

Other then those things. Ya got some interesting stuff going here. Keep at it.

DJ-xTc responds:

thanx, Ive been working on hardstyle and the different elements of it. its weird trying to get good drum patterns to randomly throw in. I used an osc. for the bass...the intro is random because its hard to come up with a 1 measure intro melody with drum patterns and random squeaks and beeps for me. I plan to experiment with this flp file to make it a good track.

Onions Mean Everything Good Alright.

Hmmm... I didn't feel the bass... Sorry sir. Just not there :(

Ways I would say to improve that feature?

#1 New kick. That's a very punchy kick. Get a kick, or make one, with extreme power. Something that makes you go "Woah..."
#2 Add a bass boost on the bass, and turn it up a little. It doesn't seem to be present. I can hear it in the background sometimes, but then it seems like it's just kinda hanging out in the back of class. Like the kid who's a "Bad-ass" and doesn't do his homework. Just sits there. Yeah. Too bad they didn't know that if they did work, they would get some awesome stuff. (Bass)
#3 This is just a suggestion. I have no clue how it would all work, but maybe a little distortion?

Yeah, Those were all suggestions, and as you can tell by my score. I have nothing really against this song. Just that I think it could use a little bass. Moar bass = More POWAH!

So, those are a few ideas that I have. No?

Okay. Thats the end of this review. Hope ya don't hate meh.

ReFreezed responds:

Maybe the bass is just too low so not every speaker can play it, because I think the kick gets a bit muffled by the other instruments because there's so much bass. Makes sense? No? :(

How do you mean distortion? And where? On the main synth, or the drums? So many questions...

So, thanks for those suggestions. And the 9. :D

Oh, and I don't hate you. (Only a little :3 )

Hmmm...

Very very ambient. That's for sure. I'm not sure if I liked the high pitch synth... personally.

The rest seemed pretty good though. Even though that really only consisted of drums and bells.

Good job with this, not your best, yet still good.

ReFreezed responds:

Yeah, I've done better. I'm mostly proud of the part with the snares right after the one minute mark because it breaks the ambience for a while.

Thanks for listening!

Prsonally I prefer the first...

This one was still really melodic and peaceful. I guess that would be why it's called ambience.

Good job with this man. I like the tune ya had going, but like I said. I prefered the first.

*doesn't mention anything about hating boobass*

Nice job! :D

ReFreezed responds:

But... I didn't use BooBass D:

Anywayz, thankz for ze review! :)

This is pretty beast...

Gotta be one of my favorite songs of yours... When the sidechaining kicks in it get's awesome. Then when the bass sidechaining kicks in... spectacular!

Awesome job with this man!

The whole thing couldn't be better!

ReFreezed responds:

Ya, this is one of my favorite songs too. And I've just figured out how to make the kick sound even harder. <3 to the kick :D

Thanks for reviewing!

Lol...

I don't see the end of the world in this...

Maybe that's just me... But I see more of a sci-fi journey taking off... and everyone is nervous... and then they launch...

That's what I see...

Sir.

:D

ReFreezed responds:

Yep, it's just you. :P

Thanks for listeningggg!!!

Meh...

Like cormaster said... Good for the genre...

Not much in my flavor though... I still wanna try making something like this sometime though...

What did you use? Just oxsc for the bass? What's the chime? Drums?

Anyways, good piece o 8 bit stuffs.

ReFreezed responds:

Not really my flavor either, but really fun to make actually. I used 3xOsc for the melody, baseline and the "hiss" and Sytrus for the "kick". Not very advanced.

Thanks for reviewing :)

Mega 0 bombed :(

I see that you changed it up a little.

I like the new opening, and the more I listen to it, I don't mind the long progression of the piano in the 2nd half...

.23 - .35 I thought that high pitch synth felt awkward. Maybe that's just me...

The ending is spectacular. Great job with it!

I can create melody, I can create a beat, but I'm not the one who creates the emotions you feel.
