Well.

Wow.

Xenogenocide has never ceased to amaze me. This sounds rather epic.

This is the sound I want to have in my music eventually, and the opening classical was perfect setting up for the guitar, and they all came in to make an epic sound.

The name fits ever so much, and I really can't say anything bad. Mastering is good, structure is good. Everything flows smoothly.

Nice work here!

DL.

Nice.

I appreciate classical. A lot. It's the base of all music, and always will be.

This is a nice piece you've got here.

Everything sort of just blends together, and there's a large range of instruments. Nice piece here. I think you've got something here.

I wasn't a big fan of the saxophone though for some reason. It seemed out of place with everything here...

The drum track was an interesting addition, it was completely different from the rest, but also, pretty nice. It's enjoyable.

Good work here sir.

ChrisisD responds:

Hey there!
Glad you like it! It took me some time to get this out of my head and into the computer ;-) About the sax, I know what you mean, but its just that I really needed another instrument there and this sax was about the best i could get. Maybe I'll look into it and change the instrument.
And for the drums, I like to experiment with new things, thats why I used a Xylofone and thats why it turns a little jazzy arround 03:12.
All that said, It was an experiment that turned out pretty good if you ask me ;-)
Thanks for listening! Greets, Chris

Impressed.

I am quite impressed. Hip-hop is totally not my genre. Yet you've got some good work here.

I'll touch on the good stuff:

You've got some really good mastering. No chipping whatsoever. perfect balance of instruments.

It's incredibly melodic.

You're vocals are most impressive. A lot going on. Background, front. Sides. Very impressive.

You've got a nice piece of work here, and the ending was quite humorous. Haha. I laughed.

Nice work.

JK-595 responds:

Thanks man... best review i've ever got =D
appreciate it man... i try my best

So.

As this is your first piece. I'll be settle.

You really need to work on your mastering. It's chipping quite badly throughout the whole thing.

This is fine for percussion, but you need more then just what you have. You need some bass and a lead synth minimum.

The vocals at the end were probably there on purpose to make people upset, but they sound stupid and like they shouldn't be there.

Overall you've got a decent piece for being your first, but you need more then just percussion, and if you want it to be a good piece, I'd suggest removing the vocal part.

Hmm.

I like where this was going, but It obviously needs more to go with it. It builds up... but to nothing.

Your new sound is much better in my opinion. It's got a much fuller sound. The bass is pretty great. It adds a grunge feel to it.

I like your new sound, but I think you could use some more riffs, and a greater note change. and of course a longer piece.

Overall though. I like it, and I think I prefer it over your others.

I am very very impressed.

Number 1. I am not a fan of emo/punk/whatever the fuck everyone wants to call it. Damn them. Shut up about the genre, and review the song.

Errhm. Ha.

Your vocalist, which I'm assuming is you who posted this, isn't anything epic, but definitely has a voice set for this genre. Whatever you want to call it. I'm not going to name it simply because... nevermind. You know why. The vocalist suits, but there are times where his voice could be a little more melodic.

As far as the background vocals they were very nice. There was a lot of vocal activity in this song. Which is a hard thing to pull off, and you guys did a good job with this.

The guitars sounded okay, but I think your higher notes could be a little bit clearer, and the lower notes could use a little more bass. Not the bass guitar needing it. The guitars need... more presence. I think is the word I would use.

The bass was good. It got the job done, and I don't have much to critique about it.

The drummer is my main impression. He/she has got some serious skill. There were nice little changes about every 4 measures, except in the bridge it sounded like every 2 measures. Which was pretty great. Serious compliments to them and their skill.

The lyrics themselves... are. Depressing. I feel like it applies way to much to my life. Which may make me seem... Emo, no-life, whatever, but I don't care right now. They are very true. Too true.

Add all of these together and you get an epic song. I am very impressed here. Great job you guys. I'm definitely checking out more of your music.

Don't mind the vote score.

This is epic...

About halfway through I broke out in epic dance...

This is totally peppy. Bah. Good stuff. Time to get my 64 out :D

WHAT THE FUCK!>?

My brains are splattered against my wall now. Just so you know.

Wow... This is nice. Leave it the way it is. No vocals. The song is epic enough on it's own.

It reminds me somewhat of "Impulse".

The guitar is just crazy and everywhere. I am impressed with your ability.

Update me when you release a new song yes? Yes.

Expect the updates and thanks for the love man.

I like.

Lots of like here (=

Never heard to original, but that's okay. This is still good enough. You need to teach me how to do a fade in reason 4.0 like :40. Yes? Yes.

Anyways. Good job. I've got nothing against this at all. Cept maybe bass. Could use a little more maybe?

Only reason I take a star off is cause it's a remix, but a dang good one at that.

Another well done piece by pizzabox! (When does almostechincolor come onto play?)

PizzaBox responds:

Almost Technicolor will be getting a Newgrounds when I have the necessary materials to debut him to the world.

I can create melody, I can create a beat, but I'm not the one who creates the emotions you feel.
