The song isn't bad... But its not your best... its got good structure, yet I think it lacked a real strong melody. Like you said. At times felt random...

I'm still working on melody and keeping a theme... Glad you thought the structure was good. Looking at my piano roll for this song, everything seems all over the place.

Well...

It's a good loop... though I don't think the drums were needed...

Loops insanely well for being on newgrounds... usually they destroy the loopiness of songs... but this one looped almost perfectly.

I think I might have overdone the drums when I added the tambourine and the snare... otherwise I thought the drums were fine.

Yeah, I noticed it looped pretty nicely. I just tried exporting it so that it would wrap whatever was on the end back to the beginning, which is why it starts with part of the ending open hat. I think it's better that way...

You should hear some of the crap from my first 5 or so years of music making, and I mean CRAP lol. Sure there's a few I still listen to and enjoy, but that's like... just a few.

Poke'mon music was always an entertaining thing.

After hours upon hours of playing the game the music was still entertaining. Theres no way you can go wrong remaking a poke'mon song.

I love tha picture. I think I saw that about a year ago, and I put it as my background for quite some time.
Looking back at this song, theres a few things I wish I couldve done. I want to make the guitar at the end softer, and the song could be longer.

As said in the discription... very slow... not a huge fan of it. Good for ambient though... considering thats what the genre is...

Review time. Great job with this song. The kick really has that UMPH that most songs lack. Or atleast in my opinion it does.

This song is great. Very weird, trancy, exotic, mysterious feeling to it.

Sure its a little repetitive but heck. Its repeating on of the best bass lines there is =P

Great job with this man. You can start to expect more reviews from me man.

Hahaha well... I originally wanted to be Lord Sandwich, named after John Montagu, Earl of Sandwich, and inventor of the sandwich, but some dumb kids in the US already have a bad funk band called Lord Sandwich, so i just used my middle name instead. =p

I actually don't think I did anything to the kick on this one. That's just how the sample is. But yeah it's pretty punchy sounding :D
