YAY, it got noticed! :D Well, it might not be my best song, but it sure was fun to make. And this song is probably my best organized song. I chose the chimes because I wanted a huge contrast to the rest of the sounds, plus it sounds a bit more like the original.

Anyways... I loved the guitar riffs in it... or atleast the later ones... they were awesome. The drums... it was super effective! - haha.

No really they were great... the reason this gets an 8... is because.

I was like AWEEESOOOOMMM... What? It just ended? I didn't even finish how awesome it was.
(translated: It was getting good and then it just ended =\...)

You cut off my awesome. That is why sir you get a 8.

It had to be short. CBC wanted submissions to be less than two minutes, preferably like thirty seconds, so I had to make it that way. Like, there's the build-up, and then the theme itself (the part you liked), which was only about 30 seconds.
Stupid FAQ on the CBC website said "Don't make it like the original theme song," which was all trumpets n shit, so I made a rock song, and then they go and pick a trumpet song for the contest winner!! Goddamn fascist Toronto motherfuckers...

Using the violins was an amazing Idea. They fit perfectly into it...

What was the background you used though? I couldn't quite catch what it was...

What program did you use to make this song?

Anyways, great song overall... very weird feeling but also very calming.. I enjoyed it alot!

glad to here it :D. I don't remember what i did to get that pad sound. I'm pretty sure it's made of layered supersaw waves, with a fair amount of hall 'verb. The program i used was reason with slightly modified sounds with the notable exceptions of the violins/cello and drums. Everything was performed on an m-audio axiom 61. thanks again.

haha most people haven't.
Star Fox Adventures was one of those games that you either loved or hated.
So if you didn't like it after the first two challenges and stopped playing, you never even got to the level where this song was at.
But I loved it for what it was, and my reward was this song...I guess.
