Hmm...

Don't usually review voice acting. As I find it not really worthy of the audio portal, but this was a pretty good bit.

I think you had the aura of the voice. If you understand what I'm saying...

The voice was okay, but it was... off. It didn't have the same raspy crack of the Joker, and I understand, you're not the joker. Still.

- 7 for voice acting.
+3 for good mimicking.
+1 For humor.

Thank you much!

Biitttchin!

Dude... I could totally hear a sick hip hop tune being laid down behind this, but I like what you did too.

Completely reminds me of the original, which isn't a bad thing...

I really have nothing bad to say, just not my favorite of your works.
Excellent job!

Hip hop lol? I never though of that.

Good that you recognized it. Or else it would have been bad :3

Thanks for everything!

Hmmm

Interesting Idea...

I may do the same for a tune. (lookie that you started a trend =P)

Good tune for only being 2 sqares.

ReFreezed responds:

A trend, eh? Let's conquer the shapes! Woo!

I think you meant 2 shapes, and not 2 squares. There's only one square. :)

Thanks for reviewing!

Nice job there.

You've got just about every note down correctly. There was a couple times that I noticed you missed one or 2, but nothing too horrible.

I would of liked to heard more uniqueness in this though. Throw in a couple notes that aren't normal, but make em sound good.

Overall, nice playing here. 9/10 5/5

5.00 / 5.00 (unchanged)

sandordude responds:

Wow thanks a lot!!!
I know there are many mistakes.. i had to record a part about 30 times to finally chose one that sounds properly, but still with a note missing xD
it sounds easy but it's hard to play :/

That pad is fabulous!

It's darn near orgasmic... The whole song is.

Issue I have with it. The drums are really only like 3 different drums with major pitch changes and everything like that =P. I think you needed some hi-hats/cymbals. Maybe bass? Bass could be used I do believe.

Other then that. This is fantasticalish.

I like it. Lots 9/10.

Nice job :D

ReFreezed responds:

Wooo! :D

Actually, I though it was a pain in the ass to place out all the notes for the drums, even though I only used 3 of 'em. I could definitively have put more work into this song, but it's the first DnB song I've ever done so... well, I'm kinda proud of how it turned out after all.

Thanks for teh review!

Drumsz

Drums are sweet :D + 10

Very low volume - 1 :(

No bass - 1 :(

I like the overall melody. It's very very catchy. Reminds me of a japenesse top-down shooter. (Oh so fun :D) The drums compliment it very well, but I don't hear much bass, let alone, much at all =P

Anyways, I like it, and I think you could make it much better by simply raising the volume.

Good job 8/10

Lamplighter responds:

Yay :)

I just uploaded a normalized version, so that should be a lot better :)

I'm lazy, hopefully I'll fix that soon :)

Glad you like it! I see how it'd fit a shooter, but I imagine something like a Mario shooter, just cuz of the synths :P I'm glad you like the drums, I worked hard on those :)

Thanks for the review (because I simply have to say that!)

WTF?

WTF?

This is incredible.

I love it good sir, and I will review all of your other songs when I get a computer to do so on.

The vocals on this were fantastic. What were they from?

I have to agree with a couple other people though... the bass could use some amp... and I think you could use some better snares... but for what you sused... this is fantastic.

Awesome man.

Awesome.

PizzaBox responds:

Vocals are from Max Payne 2.

You know. The game you said had horrible voice acting in. You hated his voice. Remember? Glad to know you thought it was fantastic this time.

;]

Errr...

Nice, but those claps.

No. I didn't feel like they belonged at all.

The guitar was extremely beautiful in this. The whole thing reminded me of a LoZ water world.

Everything's laid back, with a waterfall in the background. The local natives frolic in the meadows, and the children play in the near lake.

Fantastic song :D

Lamplighter responds:

What? I like the claps! The first time I use them in a song (I think this is the first) and they aren't good enough?! *sigh* Glad you like the guitar though... I think what I did (too lazy to check the project file) is take a distorted, flanged guitar preset, crumpled up all the effects, and put my own on. Or maybe I just used an acoustic preset and added my special ingredient... reverb!

I like your visual... very peaceful. :) Glad you liked it, I only wish it was original :P

Keep it the way it is.

No strings attached. Hah.

Anyways, Mr Egbert, you have a nice melody here...

I specifically like the lower notes. They flow together extremely well, the higher notes seem to compliment the lower ones perfectly.

Great job with this sir Johhanson. Now go finish it, and give the song to them already. You are too indecisive when it comes to that.

Go.

Lamplighter responds:

HAHAHA! No strings attached... you sir are a funny one :)

Thanks, glad you like it! I should probably EQ the bass to be a bit louder, because... yeah. It'll sound better. :)

....mm. Yeah, I am too indecisive. It's one of those states of mind where I don't think it's good enough to give her, even though it's probably fine... bleah. I'm going to show her this, though. That's an Egbert Johannson guarantee.

Thanks for the vierew!

Hmmm...

Quite quite repetitive I believe, but that's just me. Everyone makes their own things which are repetitive and all that wise crap that should be inserted here. (____)

Anywho. I like the overall melody, and I can't quite pinpoint what drums you used. If this is an FL project, that's why, but it could also be that there are over like 200 drum patches for Reason. Yeah, so which one is it?

The overall synth line is repetitive, yet the reverb on it makes it quite better.

Lol, you and reverb.

Anywho. I forgot to add this in my previous review, but I'm going to send you a pm. So look at that.

Ahhh... yes. Anyways... nice song good sir. The fade out ending totally fit it.

9/10

Lamplighter responds:

Response to that goes here. (_____)

I made this in Reason, but I used two edited loops from a Drum'n'Bass refill. So... that's why you didn't recognize it. I generally like external sounds better, but w/e

Yes, I know, reverb is always my solution to making everything better.

Reverb is my friend!

I got the pm, and I'll reply once I finish responding to these...

Thanks for the review, you're a dear :P

I can create melody, I can create a beat, but I'm not the one who creates the emotions you feel.
